This is an exciting time to join our organisation as we look to build out our ambitious analytics and intelligence platform, accelerate our growth, and establish our market lead. As we are doing that, we are growing our teams, including hiring a full cross-functional and remote software team.

Our Team

We’re currently a small team of telecoms, software, delivery, marketing and finance experts. We’re an early stage and remote-only startup (though we meet up regularly) with a wealth of varied, difficult, and interesting problems to solve to reach our vision.

The Role

Within our Product Management team, you will be involved through the entire lifecycle of our products. The team supports our customers drive the future set and functionality to help them manage their physical resources. We are customer centric in ensuring our products deliver value in every aspect.

The Product Manager is a commercial role and you will work broadly with prospects, users, and our subject matter experts to define the future of our innovative products that help our customers monitor and operate and optimise mobile phone tower installations across the world.

In addition to commercial activities, you will lead the day-to-day activities of engineering teams to define, build and deliver our innovative software solutions on time and on budget.

You will report directly to the CTO.

Key Responsibilities 

How you’ll make a difference:

  • Work with product leadership to conduct opportunity assessments and market analysis for your product line and markets
  • Actively contribute to defining the target market and user personas for your solutions both quantitatively and qualitatively
  • Be the lead advisor for your product line and drive recommendations for the product lifecycle planning process
  • Own the ideation and planning of user discovery activities to define business problems and test/validate solutions
  • Drive product metrics to transform data into actionable information – ultimately feeding into strategic business planning
  • Be a user story expert – deliver stories that accurately define the work, how objectives will be achieved, and acceptance criteria, as well as serve as a model for teams
  • Own the negotiation and trade-off process to produce a groomed, prioritised backlog that aligns our work to customer value and specific business outcomes
  • Lead the day-to-day activities of your engineering team(s) across the software development process
  • Lead, and be personally accountable for building in the voice of the customer / user feedback throughout your product lifecycle to assess and improve product market/fit
  • Define, recruit for and execute early adopter (alpha/beta) programs
  • Support the transition from one lifecycle stage to the next by leading activities like fit/gap analysis, migration planning, end of life planning, etc.
  • Clearly and confidently communicate via demos, feature summaries and other artifacts to both internal and external audiences
  • Lead in-market activities like win/loss analysis, roadmap planning, and competitive analysis

 

What you bring to the table:

  • 3 years of work experience within a commercial product management role within a software company
  • Proven application of agile software development practices (e.g., scrum)
  • Proven application of user testing and prototyping paradigms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Business Intelligence/Analytics- expertise in helping determine how to best present insights to customers to enable business actions

This role is a UK based remote position

Working Here

We’re a fully remote team, though we meet regularly in person when circumstances allow for it. We keep in close contact on video and rely on each other every day. You will have the opportunity to work with software, business analysis, QA, design, devops and data science experts within the software team, and a wealth of industry expertise in the company. Our problems are varied across the technology stack, and you will have the opportunity for continuous learning in any area that might be of interest to you. We use scrum with all the ceremonies you’ll be familiar with, and on a daily basis you’ll be working on problems with immediate application and impact for our clients.

While a remote team, we also aim for meetups at least quarterly. We’ll choose locations that are easy to get to for all members, likely in London.
